Avengers: Infinity War broke opening weekend record in China with over $40 million. China has delayed the movie for almost two weeks after the movie’s initial opening day worldwide. However, that does not seem to slow down the patients of Chinese audiences. The market predicts the movie will surpass a over $400 million box office total in China.
China has became a number two movie market after the U.S. however, China has been criticized for it’s a long time movie industry protectionist. The country usually delay or ban some movies from the other countries to avoiding some major conflict with local movies.
