According to Lionsgate, a live-action Naruto movie will be produced in near future. The first announcement came from 2015, Michael Gracey plans to direct the movie. Recently, Michael Gracey has claimed he has a strong interests to work with Naruto writer Masashi Kishimoto to develop the Naruto movie. According to Michael Gracey, Masashi Kishimoto has refused him for cooperating in the movie due to the unsatisfied movie scrips, Masashi Kishimoto is willing to work Michael if only has a good movie scrip for the famous Japanese manga.
